Transparent and raw, the author links her experience to many forms of her loves for music, family, loyalty, and belonging. As soon as the nook opens, she wastes no time in revealing her story. My only regret is that the book is over, making me have to wait for the next one!

I planned to read the first chapter and come back to it later, but I ended up reading the whole thing!! Being from the same area, I could visualize the scenes described in this gritty and inspiring story. Looking forward to the rest of the journey!!
